Experience

Kim, an editor with a rich background in digital content management and developmental psychology, brings a unique blend of analytical and creative skills to BankMyCell. With her background in Psychology, Kim is adept at understanding complex concepts and transforming them into engaging, accessible content.

At BankMyCell, Kim edited and prepared content for digital platforms, where she developed a keen eye for technology trends and user engagement strategies. This role honed her ability to create content that is not only informative but also SEO-optimized, ensuring maximum reach and impact.

Prior to joining BankMyCell, Kim served as an Editorial Assistant at Scalabrini Migration Center, processing and proofreading journal article submissions for the Asian and Pacific Migration Journal (APMJ) under SAGE Publications. This experience instilled in her a meticulous approach to content accuracy and quality, essential for a tech editor dealing with rapidly evolving information. In addition to her editorial experience, Kim has a strong research background, having worked as a Research Assistant at both the Scalabrini Migration Center and Ateneo de Manila University. This skill is particularly valuable in the tech industry, where verifying facts and presenting data-driven insights is crucial.

Kim also brings technical writing experience from her time at MedSpecialized, Inc., where she created user and training guides, video tutorial scripts, release notes, and business process documents.

Education

Kim's academic journey in psychology, culminating in a Bachelor of Arts from the University of the Philippines Cebu and partial completion of an MA in Developmental Psychology at Ateneo de Manila University Loyola Schools, has equipped her with critical analytical skills. Her education has enabled her to understand complex concepts and translate them into engaging content, a vital skill for a Tech Editor at a dynamic platform like BankMyCell.
